I am 3 weeks young already

I am here for 3 weeks already! Its hard to believe, because it just feels like I was born minutes ago. It’s been a crazy adjusting period for me and my folks at home. Mommy and Daddy seemed to be quite ignorant to my needs at times and it took them a while to realize whether I needed my moo moo or wanted them to clear me of my poo poo. Anyways, they are still learning and I guess, I still have to be a bit more tolerant during their probation.

Things have been progressing along fine. I tend to have figured out this day and night thing finally. I tend to wake up pretty early in the morning around 6:30am(usually after I answer nature's call). Too bad folks around here are deep asleep then. I tend to look around to get some attention, but no luck(appears like these guys are beat up by my nightly activities). I usually try to stare around and do my morning cardio(cycling action), but I get bored shortly and then its time for moo moo, and I am all wet already and need a diaper change. That's when I give them a wake up call.

I am usually pretty active during the day, mostly curious looking at the nursery collection that my parents have put together for me. I have also started listening to a lovely lullaby which goes "Kanne Kalaimane" and also a few lullabies by Mozart. Though the intent of these lullabies is to get me to sleep, I more than often find my ways to fool out of their attempts.

I tend to have my moo moo every couple of hours and as the Newton's law goes "Every Action has an equal and opposite reaction", I also keep my parents diaper busy on the other end. Mommy is so worried that I m not getting enough sleep that I should be getting during this time. That’s mommy, always so concerned about me - I love Mommy!

Then around noon comes my not so favorite part of the day - Taking a bath. That's where my grandma takes charge. Though Grandma tries to pacify me into taking a bath, its not something I look forward to. Bath time is not yet relaxing for me.

First of all, I hate the very thought of being all naked and getting into this tub. And secondly getting out of the tub, I feel all cold and makes me mad.

I just don’t know the logic behind these baths - I will make dirty diapers soon after anyway. By the time, I get all dressed up again after the bath, I am all tired and ready to go to bed.

Evenings go by with me trying to catchup a little bit of sleep. I have a pretty tough time settling down for the night, which means trouble time for Mommy,Daddy & Grandma. I seem to be confused on what I should be doing during this transition from Day to Night - Should I stay awake or should I take a nap ? And hence, I am a fuzzy little baby in the evenings. That's when Daddy takes the challenge of pacifying me and getting me settled down. He usually takes me to his favourite couch and we watch a little bit of TV, and I tend to fall asleep on his chest. I love sleeping on Daddy's Chest.

But when its 9pm, I am usually very prompt and hitting the bed. For the last week, I should say, I have been a very good baby at night. Mostly sleeping my way through the night at least for stretches of every 3 hours.

Oops, Looks like it's my bedtime already. Sorry guys, I gotta hit the bunker now. Will catch you all in my next blog.
